Order Cancellation Policy

This Order Cancellation Policy describes the conditions under which customers may cancel Sidephone orders prior to shipment. This policy applies only to purchases made directly from sidephone.com.

For cancellations after shipment, please refer to the Return Policy.


1. Cancellation Eligibility

Orders may be cancelled at any time before shipment.

An order is considered shipped once it has been transferred to a shipping carrier and tracking information has been generated.

Pre-orders and standard orders pending shipment are eligible for cancellation under this policy.


2. Cancellation Fees

Approved cancellation requests submitted prior to shipment are subject to a 5% processing fee calculated based on the total order value (excluding taxes where prohibited by law).

This fee covers payment processing costs, administrative handling, and order preparation expenses.


3. Cancellation Requests After Shipment

If an order has already shipped at the time a cancellation request is received:

  • The order can no longer be cancelled under this policy.

  • Customers must follow the Return Policy after delivery.

  • Applicable shipping costs and restocking fees will apply in accordance with the Return Policy.


4. How to Request a Cancellation

To request an order cancellation, contact:

Include:

  • Order number

  • Name used on the order

  • Request to cancel the order

Sidephone will confirm whether the order is eligible for cancellation.

Submitting a request does not guarantee cancellation if shipment processing has already begun.


5. Refund Method and Timing

Approved cancellation refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

If the original payment method cannot be used, Sidephone may issue refunds via:

  • Bank transfer

  • PayPal

  • Check

  • Store credit (if selected)

Refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days after cancellation approval. Financial institutions may require additional time to post funds.


6. Payment Provider Obligations

Customers remain responsible for any obligations to third-party payment providers (such as installment or financing providers) until refunds are completed.

Sidephone is not responsible for fees, interest, or charges imposed by payment providers.


7. Fraud Prevention and Abuse

Sidephone reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests or charge additional fees in cases of:

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Payment disputes or chargebacks

  • Repeated or abusive order behavior

  • Violations of Sidephone terms or policies

Accounts associated with fraudulent activity may be restricted or suspended.


8. Order Processing and Shipment Timing Disclaimer

Order processing and shipment timelines are estimates and may change due to operational requirements, inventory availability, or events outside Sidephone’s control.

Submission of a cancellation request does not guarantee approval if shipment preparation has already progressed beyond the point where cancellation is operationally feasible.


9. Policy Relationship to Return Policy

Once an order has shipped, it becomes subject to the Return Policy.

Cancellation requests made after shipment will be treated as return requests after delivery.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Refund of the amount paid, minus applicable fees, is the sole remedy available under this policy.

  • Sidephone is not liable for incidental or consequential damages related to order cancellations.


11. Policy Changes

Sidephone reserves the right to modify this Order Cancellation Policy at any time.

Changes apply only to orders placed after the updated effective date.
