Summary
Turn on the flashlight from Quick Settings to use your Sidephone’s rear LED as a torch, and turn it off the same way when you’re done.
Steps
From Quick Settings (fastest way)
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings
Tap Flashlight to turn it on
Tap Flashlight again to turn it off
From Settings (if the tile is missing)
Open Settings
Tap System navigation & gestures (or Display, depending on SideOS build)
Customize Quick Settings and add the Flashlight tile
Repeat steps 1–3 above
Considerations
The flashlight uses the rear camera LED, not the screen
The flashlight will turn off automatically if the phone overheats
Battery Saver may dim or disable the flashlight
Flashlight is unavailable while the camera flash is in use
Flashlight may turn off during very low battery conditions
When to Contact Support
Create a support ticket if the flashlight does not turn on at all from Quick Settings after confirming the tile is present and the device is not overheating
