Before setting up your Sidephone, ensure you have a charged battery, a keypad installed in the device, and an internet connection (Wi-Fi preferred) to complete the initial device activation and settings configurations.

Steps

  1. Charge the device: Connect your Sidephone to power using the included USB-C cable and charger until the battery animation shows an adequate charge.

  2. Install a keypad: Select a keypad and add it to the device prior to powering it on.

  3. Have your Wi-Fi password ready: Have your Wi-Fi network or hotspot password ready to complete initial device configurations and necessary app installs.

Avoid

  1. Avoid inserting the SIM card before set up: Do this after initial setup has been completed and the device is past the startup wizard so that all settings are available to you should the carrier require it for configuration.
