Error connecting to an App Pack

What to do if you encounter an error connecting to App Packs or adding apps through the App Library.

Summary

This is caused if the device is not connected to Internet. Please connect Sidephone to the Internet and try again.

Steps

  1. Connect the device to the Internet
    Connect Sidephone to a Wi-Fi network.

  2. Restart the App Library application
    Close the App Library application from the active Apps list or restart the device.

  3. Add a new network or LTE
    Connect Sidephone to a different network and retry.

Considerations

  • Your network or ISP may be blocking the website that is required to fetch the App Packs.

Contact Support if adding an App Pack is not possible after trying the above steps.

What to Collect for Support

  • Which country you are in

  • What networks were used (do not reveal personal network information, only that it was a home network)

  • Are websites like amazon.com / microsoft.com available in a web browser?

  • What is Sidephone's OS version or the date of your last update?
