The tables below outline applications Sidephone has made available as part of Sidephone's App Library or installed by default on the device.
The App Library is a collection of applications and tools that can be added to Sidephone to extend its functionality. The list is expected to grow as the project grows.
Note: Sidephone does not always have an ability to verify third party application source code. When adding any application from a developer other than Sidephone, please do your own due diligence, and be sure to read that developer's Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions to ensure that you agree and are aligned to them.

Supported apps are organized into folders called App Packs. Scanning an App Pack's QR code using the App Library will reveal the applications where you can then install (2nd step) them onto your device, if desired.

Sidephone's App Library uses F-Droid. The majority of F-Droid and Obtainium applications are also likely to work on Sidephone as long as they have responsive design that will adapt to Sidephone's 2.8in display.
Please keep in mind that no Google services are on Sidephone. Devices using Google services to function (Firebase for notifications) might not fully work.
If in the future a custom OS is developed for kids, or users seeking a more strict and simple mobile phone experience, there may introduce more limitations and parental controls introduced at that time (eg. no browser, no sideloading).
